Charlie Owen

Charlie Owen is a passionate and versatile singer-songwriter from the Western suburbs of Sydney.

With her smooth blend of sweet and sombre tones, she explores laid-back acoustic renditions of popular folk, soul and alternative tunes through a wistfully nostalgic lens. 

Charlie’s original music is reminiscent of folk storytellers and soulful melodists such as Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy, with thoughtfully introspective lyricism and relatable themes of coming to terms with love, loss and everything that falls in between.

Charlie is no stranger to the stage, having graduated from the Australian Institute of Music with a show stopping recital and performing credits under her belt including providing backing vocals for Katie Noonan and Montaigne at the 1 Million Women event held in 2019, and performing at the LGBTI International Awards Show at The Star Sydney.

From private functions and corporate events to a casual acoustic afternoon at a cafe, she comfortably establishes the perfect atmosphere in any setting.
